Refrigerated trailers are used for the transportation of perishable food as well as other products that need a steady climate.

The van itself may be produced on the basis of two technologies:

• either a solid sandwich-panel assembly technology that presupposes frameless vacuum gluing: sandwich panels are joined by inner and external frame components. The joints are tight thus there are no thermal bridges afterwards;
• or a metal frame technology: there is a metal frame made of welded rectangular tubes.

The trailer has a single or a double axis.
